MMABANA FOUNDATION, WHO ARE WE?

You have probably asked yourself what "mmabana" stands for. Well, its a word out of the Tswana language and means "mother of children". This is in brief who we are and what we do. "Being a caring, supporting and loving mother to the children of poor communities in Southern Africa".
The Mmabana Foundation (MF) is a Non-Governmental and Non-Profit Organisation that was founded 2009 in South Africa (Reg. No. 071-068-NPO in Pretoria under the NPO Act, 1997) by Monique Dalka as an initiative to support the Mmabana Community Outreach Project (MCOP) in Choma, Zambia founded in 2008 by a Zambian lady named Nosiku Kalonga.
The five board members of the Mmabana Foundation devote their time and efforts entirely on a voluntary basis and thus enable all fundraising to directly and efficiently benefit those children and youth in greater need.
